Stride (One of the STR Group of Companies) are currently working on behalf of a client to recruit for the following position: Company: Large Housing Association Job title: Gas Co-ordinator Hourly rate: £11.00 per hour (PAYE) Location: Ashford, Kent, TN24 Working hours: 35 hours per week Contract type: Temporary approx. 6 months Proposed start: To be confirmed Driving licence and access to own car required: Desirable Our client are one of the largest housing associations in southern England and has a well-established reputation as a successful business with social objectives. They provide housing of all different types of customers who live in there 30,000 properties. Purpose of role: To deliver a quality, customer focussed, comprehensive and co-ordinated service acting as first point of contact for colleagues, residents and contractors for gas servicing and safety checks ensuring compliance is maintained The Gas Co-ordinator will be expected to refer repair cases to alternative contractors and assist with getting access via the customer. The co-ordinator will deal with all properties within the group which are on contract with the gas (which will also include other renewable sources of heating) to ensure servicing is undertaken annually. There is no budget responsibility but there is a requirement to process invoices. Skills: Proven knowledge of IT using MS Office Suite, in particular Excel Excellent administrative experience.
