A national homebuilder is looking to recruit a marketing assistant to join its busy team based in the Kent Area. The pain purpose of the role is to assist in providing sales and marketing support to various construction sites across the region, covering all marketing communication with particular reference to brochure production, advertising and promotional activity designed to generate visitor traffic and sales.
Typical duties will include but are not limited to;
*Work with the Marketing Manager to manage a combination of channels appropriate to the budgetary and marketing requirements of the region.
*Make suggestions regarding new routes to market.
*Assist with the management of the production schedule to make sure briefs are accurate, timely and signed off in accordance with agreed timescales.
*Work as part of the marketing team to produce development brochures ensuring timescales are met to comply with timings for sales launch and new phase openings.
*Liaise with the Technical department and the in-house Graphic Design department or external suppliers as required.
*Check brochure content prior to being signed off for approval to print.
*Assist with the production of other marketing materials as required.
*Assist with the organisation and promotion of events and attend to provide support to the sales team as necessary.
*Analyse the effectiveness of each email campaign in terms of response rates and cost per acquisition/call
*To ensure monthly Market Research reports are received from all developments at the beginning of each month.
*Assist where appropriate with the preparation of weekly sales reports, traffic and visitor figures and any other administrative tasks to assist the department as may be required.
It is assumed the successful candidate will hold the following skills and experience. However, applicants who feel they have similar/transferable experience are welcomed to apply;
*5 GCSEs / GCE including Mathematics and English (at C grade or above).
*A Levels in any discipline.
*Degree, or equivalent, in Marketing.
*Working towards or completed Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification.
*Previous experience as a Marketing Assistant or working within a marketing environment.
*Experience of working in a sales / customer service / public relations environment
*Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
*Keen eye for detail.
