Smile Education are a leading recruitment service for schools in the West Midlands. We are currently working in partnership with a Primary School in Walsall who are looking for an efficient administrator and receptionist to join their team. Starting ASAP, this role will be full time, on an ongoing basis. You will be working alongside an energetic team, made up of the Business Manager and another office administrator. You will be meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils, signing them in and out and making sure the correct checks and passes are issues. You will be answering the phone, taking relevant messages and escorting visitors throughout the school. You will also complete general administration duties such as logging pupil data and inputting it onto the system, dealing with petty cash and school dinner money, filling, sending correspondence on email and letters, compiling reports and completing relevant paper work. Previous school admin or reception experience is crucial for this role and previous experience using the school system SIMS is desired but not essential.
