Summary Tommy's Chair of Maternal and Fetal Health Centre for Reproductive Health £80,653 - £107,170 p.a The University of Edinburgh invites applications for the Chair of Maternal and Fetal Health at the Edinburgh Tommy's Centre. This Chair was established when the Edinburgh Tommy's Centre was opened in 2008 and became vacant when the previous post-holder moved to a new position. The position will be held within the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health and the Deanery of Clinical Sciences and College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding non-clinical or clinical academic who has made significant contributions to the field of Maternal and Fetal Health Research. The successful candidate will be expected to introduce and develop a world-leading research programme that will add new directions to the research already on-going in Tommy's and the MRC-CRH. There will be access to the excellent facilities on the BioQuarter site, and the University of Edinburgh more widely, both for clinical and basic research. If the successful candidate is a clinician, they will be eligible to hold honorary consultant status with NHS Lothian and may participate in clinical activities within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology services at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh /Simpson Centre for Reproductive Health.
