Summary Our client is looking for a Housing Payments Assistant. To assist with processing approximately 19,000 invoices per year for the Housing & Public Protection Department by way of manual batch processing using the Housing IT system. The successful candidate will be providing regularity checks of all payments ensuring they comply with statutory legislation and financial regulations and providing costings, handling queries & liaising with Estate Officers & Managers, Operational Managers, Team Leaders, Debtors Section, the Debt Recovery Team & Tenants, in relation to rechargeable repairs Raise invoices/credit note batches to debtors, send costing letters to Tenants informing them of recharges that have been raised, liaise with Team Leaders to ensure works are completed in order for MG19 compensation forms for court action to be taken by North Wales Police, load and scan all documents & information onto the Housing IT system daily with regards to rechargeable repairs. Inform tenants of recharges that have been raised, cancelled or written off.
