The responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner includes: Effectively protect and promote the welfare of all children for whom responsible with clear knowledge of Children Acts 1989 and other relevant legislation and policies. Hold a case load, which includes Child In Need and Child Protection, Children in care and court work. Undertake assessments of Child In Need, Child Protection and Court reports in accordance with assessment framework, working together, London child protection procedures and children Act 1989. Ensure accurate, accessible and detailed recording. Complete excellent assessments and reports that clearly identify children needs and implements the needs of the child/ren with the care plan to address their needs and protect them.
