A large firm of consulting engineers with offices worldwide now seeks a TRAFFIC ENGINEER to join them in Aberdeen.
You will be responsible for the delivery of traffic engineering, local transport, urban design, streetscape schemes etc. working as part of the traffic and local roads team.

They have over 100,000 staff worldwide and offer good prospects for ambitious staff.
You will be a Traffic Engineer possibly with some experience of Highway design.
You should have an HND, Degree or Masters in an appropriate subject and ideally be working towards becoming chartered.
You will need to have an understanding of Health and Safety including CDM responsibilities.
You should have experience in the use of AutoCAD.
Have experience of undertaking and managing tasks in a project programme.
Have experience in the preparation of detailed design and project delivery of traffic engineering, local transport, urban design / streetscape and local authority / municipal highway schemes.
Some experience of preparing technical reports.
A good understanding of U.K. traffic engineering regulations and traffic signs manuals.
Good communication skills a must to deal directly with clients.
