The Child Health Care group are looking for 2 non-clinical bed managers; this is a new and exciting post which offers the right person the chance to work in a progressive team managing the bed availability across the Children's hospital.
Working with clinicians, ward nursing staff, matrons and the child health management team you will undertake a range of duties, including placing elective and emergency patients on a daily basis.
The post will involve a range of shifts including some weekends and evenings, with a view to developing further to cover over a 24 hour period.
We are looking for someone who is articulate with excellent interpersonal skills, proactive and motivated. Combined with NHS experience, you will need to have the ability to multi task, organise your own workload whilst remaining calm under pressure and enjoy a challenge. The work is varied requiring an organised approach, attention to detail and strong skills in communication, and administration.

Training and support will be provided where needed with ongoing development.
