Your new role Project wise things are very exciting. You'll be responsible for working on core greenfield developments with only around 20% BAU work to attack. There are a number of larger clients that have been recently signed and with that comes bespoke customisation requests. On top of this there is a move from B2B products to a consumer driven product which will be rolled out in 2019 and will take them to another level again.
You'll be working in a small but highly talented team so will be expected to touch a few different areas of the business. This is not a corporate, pigeon-holed place to work, the company champions open collaboration and encourages bringing new technology suggestions to the table, so providing it's secure for FinTech adoption, they are ready to listen.
The company are about to undergo a sustained period of growth and need technical minds that are ready to hit the ground running early on.
The company runs Agile on 2 weekly releases but are not bound by the manifesto and will openly investigate practices and tech which work for them. Knowledge of mobile development, (cross platform or native) will serve you well, as will Java, payments or financial services experience.
What you'll get in return The company offers great flexibility across the board and there is no micromanagement here. We want someone interested in seeing how the work they do can genuinely impact on the success of the business. There is a full workplace pension, performance based bonuses for individuals, and free parking on site. On top of this the working conditions are pleasant and they champion promotion from within.
