Due to recent expansion in our services, we are looking to recruit more staff to support a friendly group of 20 people of different ages who live in our supported Living Service in Bath. The people we support enjoy a variety of different activities such as swimming, going to the cinema, meals out, bowling, wrestling, shopping, discos, baking, art & crafts and spending time with their friends and family. The people we support are deaf or have dual sensory loss and have learning disabilities, mental health support or autism, so we offer support with communication, developing independent living skills such as managing money, attending college, cooking, running their home & shopping. People also want support to develop friendships and accessing the wider community. We would like staff to support people to develop their own support plans using person centred approaches so they can live fulfilled and empowered lives, being involved in all aspects of their care and support working towards achieving positive outcomes and realising their potential.
