Your new company This is an "outstanding" secondary school in Sheffield that supports students across KS3 - KS5.
Your new role You will be working throughout the school supporting students on a 1:1 and full classroom basis. The job is to start 18th January 2019, and will run until July 2019. You will be expected to liaise with teachers so that you can ensure all students receive adequate and specific support in class, and provide feedback on their progression and learning. You may from time to time meet with the Special Needs Coordinator (if supporting SEN students) and possibly link with outside teams such as Social Services.
What you'll need to succeed You need to have experience of working with young people aged 13+, ideally within a school setting. As the job is to start on 18th January, it is essential you are immediately available for work and willing to commit until July. What you'll get in return The opportunity to work in an Ofsted "Outstanding" school, where pupil progression and welfare is of high priority to a supportive Senior Leadership Team with high expectations. You will benefit from a dedicated Hays consultant who you can contact from 07:00 - 22:00, seven days a week. Hays also offers a "Refer a Friend" scheme so if this isn't the job for you but you know someone who would be interested, please pass on our details and you may be entitled to £250 of vouchers *T&C apply
