Permanent level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner required in Bristol
Your new nursery You will be working in a small, family run nursery that has been running just over 25 years. The nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. This nursery prides itself on its loving and nurturing ethos where they cater and adapt to each individual's skills and talents. Most recently the nursery received an Ofsted 'Good', highlighting the quality of care that is provided to children. The nursery has good public transport links with one of the main bus routes passing the setting as well as a car park on site for staff members. This Nursery offers STEM learning, providing a different way of learning to help engage and develop the children's knowledge.
Your new role This job is for a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner, wishing to work with1-2-year olds. Your job will involve implementing the EYFS curriculum. You must have an interest in forest school and Montessori, but experience in this isn't required. To be suitable for this job you will need to be willing to get stuck in with a vision to increase learning and development. You will have your own key children that you will carry out planning, preparation and observations for.
You will be responsible for providing excellent emotional, physical, social and intellectual care for the children and supporting the other staff members of the room to maintain high standards. You will be working as part of a close, strong team to tailor to children's needs and providing an engaging environment for the children. You will be expected to build working relationships with parents to provide regular development updates.
What you'll need to succeed You will need to be qualified to level 2 or above. You will have an extensive early year's background and confidence with safeguarding procedures. Having experience working with SEN children will be beneficial for this job.
