Head of Disability, Counselling and Mental Health Services
The Head of Disability, Counselling and Mental Health Services is responsible for the development, leadership and management of services to provide support, advice and guidance for students, ensuring the provision, as well as the provision of counselling services for University staff and for staff and students of Bradford College. In the new SAS structure the post holder is responsible for 10 FTE of staff made up of specialist counsellors and disability advisers.
In order to be considered for the role candidates require experience of leading a student facing counselling or disability service. Candidates also require a relevant professional qualifications related to either Disability, Mental Health, or Counselling/Psychotherapy and Supervision (or accredited as a Supervisor) and/or BACP, UKCP or equivalent professional accreditation.
