Job Description

Summary

The Student Records Manager takes the lead role in the maintenance of accurate student records within the University and is responsible for the successful and timely completion of key institutional data returns (including but not limited to, student HESA, HEFCE non-completions, NHS, KIS,SFA, JES, SUSI) ensuring that data returned is accurate, and that returns are maximised. The role also supports the operational oversight of student systems from a business point of view, ensuring a continuous programme of training for University staff in relation to systems use, and working to ensure consistent use of systems.

The ideal candidate requires experience of leading and managing staff and University-wide services; experience of and detailed knowledge of producing institutional student data returns; and experience of working with and developing student record systems. Candidates will also have a first degree or equivalent qualification or relevant experience; and a postgraduate or professional qualification.
