Job Description

Summary

I am recruiting for a Care Manager to join a domiciliary care branch in the Preston area of Lancashire.

This is a small branch currently however has every potential to develop into a much larger service within its own right.

I am looking to speak to people who are either at a similar level looking for a new challenge or an experienced Care Coordinator/Deputy Manager looking to take on their first management role.

*A Full UK Driving License with access to a car is ESSENTIAL for this role

The Position:
As Care Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited too;
- Take responsibility for the general running of the office
- Grow the branch by local marketing, speaking with local councils and authorities etc.
- Regularly liaise with the Operations Manager (who will provide ongoing support to you and your branch)
- Ensure that all calls are appropriately allocated, and adequate cover is available
- Recruit additional team members, where needed
- Take part in the on-call rota on a shared basis

The Person:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as minimum, NVQ Level 4 would be advantageous
- Experience of working in the care industry at Care Coordinator level or above
- Good customer service skills
