We are seeking to recruit a creative and experienced Design Studio Manager to manage and support our busy in-house design studio to provide a responsive, efficient and high quality design service across the University. This is a key position within the Marketing, Communications and Engagement service and the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in the University's brand, reputation and recognition.
We are seeking an applicant with excellent graphic design and project management skills with substantial experience of leading and managing a busy fast-paced design studio. Applicants must be self-motivated and experienced in working in a cross-functional setting and adhering to tight deadlines and turnaround times.
This role has a focus on brand, messaging, student recruitment and stakeholder engagement and requires the post holder to think creatively to produce innovative ideas and concepts with a focus on digital first. Extensive experience of designing digital and web assets including HTML5 and CSS are also an essential part of this role.
Duties will include managing the creative team including workflows and systems including inputs to and outputs from the studio, designing on and off line assets, as well as liaising with colleagues across the University and protecting the UCLan brand.
