Qualified Social Worker - Crisis Intervention Team

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Crisis Intervention Team within Thurrock Hospital. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:

• Provide support and guidance to clients in a state of acute mental health crisis
• Helping individuals who are at imminent risk of harming themselves or others
• Analyse social situations to resolve psychosocial problems
• Ability to alleviate the affected person's distress, impairment and instability
• Generate and explore alternatives and coping strategies
• Restore functioning through implementation of an action plan
• Mutually agreeing with the client on short-term goals and tasks, and suggesting alternative coping methods that leverage the client's strengths.

To ideal candidate will have:

• HCPC registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
