We are currently seeking a full time support worker to work across two supported living units based in Gosport, Portsmouth. If you are a support worker or care assistant with experience working with adults with learning and physical disabilities please get in touch. The role pays between £8.21 and £9.15 / hour.
You must be a car driver with your own mode of transport, be seeking full time work and be happy to work with adult with learning and physical disabilities. Flexibility is key as the shift pattern is varied. You will be working as part of team within this unit, rather than lone work.
- Car driver
- Working with adults with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, dementia and autism.
- Working across 2 supported living units both in Gosport
- Working on a shift rota, to include 1 sleep in per week, long and short days, every other weekend work.
- Working 37.5 hours per week.
You must be flexible in your working approach to adapt to the needs of the individuals in your care; be able to assist with meal preparation, daily living tasks, medication assistance and all aspects of personal, social and emotional care. You will have a willing attitude and be able to work as part of a team to encourage and support the service users in order for them to lead ordinary lives in their local communities.
