You will working within the Public Sector for a Nationally recognised organisation, located in Sheffield with easy access to surrounding areas of Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and further afield.
Your new role
As the Interim Procurement Manager, you will manage and lead all defined Procurement Projects for the organisation's most complex and high-risk projects, delivering the best possible commercial outcomes. You will be at the centre of a network of key stakeholders and suppliers, developing strong relationships and ensuring the best value for money.
You will take a strategic approach to leading your customers' commercial activity, looking for wider opportunities to engage within the market place and driving greater levels of competition. You will have the ability to influence and engage stakeholders and be able to work closely with sideline departments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be MCIPS Qualified and have experience with OJEU and EU Framework and Tenders. You will have a strong drive to succeed and hold proven leadership skills and hold experience within a commercial background and be confident when working in a challenging environment. You will have experience of delivering successful outcomes and identifying and implementing solutions to challenging scenarios.
