Your new role
As the Procurement Manager, you will be managing and leading the Purchasing team in maximising efficiencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the Department. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing new opportunities for growth alongside the delivery on bottom line results. You will be building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able to influence at all levels.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree or Masters educated, you will be CIPS Qualified and be strong negotiator and be able to influence at all levels. You will have experience of high level tenders and be confident with contract management. You will hold excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage and motivate your team to the highest standard. You will hold in depth knowledge of what is required to be an effective Procurement Department and be able to implement this across the team. You will be open to travelling as the role does require off-site visits.
