Your new role
You will be delivering best value for goods and services across the category and be able to identify commercial saving opportunities, whilst ensuring activities are delivered in a timely manner. You will be working with wider divisional teams to identify further commercial, tender and cost saving opportunities. You will be writing tender specifications, contract schedules and service level agreements and be able to manage and coordinate all activities to the highest standard. You will be able to develop long-term cost reduction initiatives and seek value through negotiating.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have knowledge or purchasing and Procurement and you will have evidence of cost reductions and how you have benefited the procurement process. You will have knowledge of procurement management, inventory management and supply chain management. You will have an understanding of contract activity and an understanding in how to apply procurement legislation.
