Indirect Buyer Job Based in Sheffield, 6 - 12 Month Contract
Hays office support are currently recruiting an Indirect Buyer job for our client based in North Sheffield.
*Please note that this is initially a 6 month contract role that could potentially be extended to 12 months*
The main responsibilities of the role are to work within the purchasing team to ensure purchase orders on selected vendors are placed and progressed accordingly.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Stock management against agreed inventory targets within product area
Resolution of vendor delivery & invoice queries
Manage and minimise any backorder situations within the buyer product area
Preparation of invoices for approval Inventory Reporting
Maintaining excellent and proactive relationships will Suppliers both internal and external
Associated administration and updating of information
What you'll need to succeed: You must have experience in purchasing practices and be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. You will have knowledge of Inventory Control Principles and be highly accurate and methodical with attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills and administrative skills.
Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week between 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday- Friday but the company offer flexible working as well and free on-site parking.
