Receptionist required to support a busy front of house reception, for a well respected organisation within Sheffield. This position is required with an immediate start and will report to the HR Manager to assist through a period of transition. This post is available on a temporary basis. Due to the immediate start required of this post, we ask that all applicants are available to start and commit to temporary work with immediate effect.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small reception department and provide crucial support, whilst building front of house experience. You will be a proven, high level receptionist with an excellent eye for detail and an approachable, friendly manor.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
Welcoming and greeting all people who visit the organisation
Responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all telephone calls coming into the organisation and addressing any queries
Ad Hoc administration duties
Room and appointment booking
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office required to intermediate level
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a proven receptionist with some prior experience of both administration and client / customer facing roles. You must be able to start temporary work immediately and be able to commit to the duration of the role. You will have a keen eye for detail, be extremely personable and be confident conversing with both senior members of staff and the general public.
