Make the most of your mornings: Take a later shift with TfL

At Capita, we've teamed up with TFL to manage London's Congestion Charging Zone, Low Emission Zone and Traffic Enforcement Notice Processing. In fact, from April 2019, we're also going to be involved in the new Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) campaign and will be responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the systems. Right now, we're looking for a new Data Entry Customer Service Representative to join the team. Together, we'll support TfL to help the Mayor of London realise his ambitious plans and protect Londoners from the damaging health impacts of air pollution.

OK, sounds good. What should I know?

The first thing to note is that this role has an evening shift pattern, Monday-Friday 4.30pm-10.30pm. (We have a small number of shifts available for between 16 - 30 hours, please discuss our availability with our team). That means you'll really be able to make the most of your days. Think about it. While everyone else is at work, you can make the most of your lie in, do a spot of shopping while it's less crowded and make it to work before the rush hour traffic. Plus, with fewer people at work, parking is absolutely guaranteed.

So, what will I be doing?

Day-to-day, your role will be all about the data. After being fully-trained at the start, you'll be responsible for all the behind-the-scenes processing for TfL's London Road User Charging system. Plus, you'll be involved in the ULEZ campaign from the very beginning. That means targets and deadlines will be your bread and butter, and a high level of accuracy is needed as you enter and validate the data you're given.

  • Good with computers, including email, Microsoft Word and the like
