Hospital Domestic Cleaners Chelmsford - Urgently Required

We urgently require Domestic Cleaners to work within the hospital in Chelmsford.

This is ongoing temporary work covering both short and long term positions, sickness, and holiday.

You can decide whether you want to work either Part or Full Time, and decide on the best shift pattern for you.

We have various shifts available including morning and afternoons both during the week and also at the weekend, these are as follows:

Monday to Friday 08.00-13.00

Monday to Friday 14.00-17.00

Saturday and Sunday 08.00-14.00

If you have health & safety experience or COSHH experience this would be a great asset.

Previous experience within a hospital, care or medical environment desirable, although training will be given to the right candidates.

Main duties:

• To carry out all routine cleaning duties in accordance with the agreed cleaning schedule and task frequencies to maintain optimum cleaning standards.
• To respond to all reasonable additional ad-hoc requests for cleaning as and when required.
• To comply with any specific infection control or management instruction in respect of specific cleaning needs

Specific cleaning tasks will include but may not be limited to all of the following:

• • Vacuuming and mopping of floors
  • Cleaning of furniture and fittings including beds, lockers, chairs, commodes, etc
  • Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets and sluices
  • Emptying and re-lining of waste bins, collection, segregation and disposal of all types of waste
  • High and low, level cleaning of ledges, window sills, curtain rails etc
  • Replenishing of soap, hand towels, toilet paper and other consumables
  • Cleaning of glass partitions and mirrors
  • Maintenance of floors including scrubbing, buffing and carpet cleaning at agreed frequencies
  • Changing of window and cubicle curtains and the maintenance of soft furnishings
