Salary - £26K - £30K - Potential to earn up to £45kpa - £50kpa with overtime etc
Hours - 41.25 hours per week (8.25 hours Monday to Friday)
Regular work away in the UK, although this shouldn't be all week every week.
Overtime - As required to satisfy customer requirements.
Occasional weekend working at short notice may be necessary to meet customer demands.
A full UK driving licence is required
Holidays - 21 days + 8 stats
The service engineer's role is to carry out scheduled machine service work and provide breakdown repair response to our client's customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Our client is looking for an electrical biased engineer with fault finding capability and PLC knowledge. Good diagnostic skills, in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faculties are required, along with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
A working knowledge of PLC's, along with basic PC skills with a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel are also required.
With a working background and apprentice trained in electro / mechanical / pneumatic repairs, the role involves a mixture of both field based and workshop duties, (with overnight hotel accommodation as and when required) responding to meet customer requirements at short notice.
The role involves direct customer contact and a smart appearance and good communication skills are required.
A company van is supplied containing all necessary spares, tools, laptop, mobile phone and all equipment and technical information necessary to carry out the work being undertaken.
Training - The company offers appropriate onsite training and development programmes, working alongside current engineers throughout a probationary period.
