Summary

Residential Property Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to join our Head Office team at Newbridge, Edinburgh as Residential Property Manager.

What does the job entail?

We are looking for a self-motivated and diligent Residential Property Manager to help manage our residential property portfolio of 260 properties from our busy Head Office. The successful Property Manager will be expected to take responsibility for duties including:

• Appointing & managing letting agents on a tenant find basis
• Ensuring rents are reviewed annually to keep pace with market levels
• Managing rent arrears cases to acceptable resolution
• Appointing & managing maintenance contractors
• Appointing & managing gas, electrical and other safety inspections
• Facilitating internal refurbishments as required
• Dealing with tenancy expiries and deposit disputes
• Assisting with reviewing portfolio acquisition opportunities

Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must be able to work at high volume and fast pace but with accuracy and whilst delivering the highest business standards and customer service levels.
You must have current or previous property management experience within the residential lettings sector and should be a strong communicator and confident when dealing with people. You must be flexible, reliable and have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. You must be resilient and able to deal with a variety of challenging situations.
A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.

What is on offer?
• 37.5 hours a week, working between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
• Competitive salary, DOE
• Use of pool car
