Summary Role: Claims Handler (No Claims Discount) Duration: 6 months Location: Ipswich Working as a member of a team with responsibility for operational control by NCD for client CS Network. As part of this role: Dealing with client CS network partners and client overseas operations managing the overseas claims processing and specialised motor reporting. Operational support of audit, processes and data entry for the branch offices. Provide claims reporting data, manage gap and trend analysis, identifying concerns, and managing them to a mutually agreeable resolution Operate in a continuous improvement culture relating to the policy and claims data input in terms of timeliness and quality Provide support to the HUBs, International Network team and other key teams within the client CS branches To collate, analyse and input in a limited range of situations of statistical information from network partners Responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality service within the parameters of the role. Delivering the agreed service standards to internal and external clients. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Undertake work on and help network partners process complex data, resolve issues, and devise and implement following referral solutions. Provide administrative and Operational advice to client CS HUBS; Network partners; International Network team and other key users of the data. Knowledge and understanding of underwriting and reinsurance information and structure of programmes translating this to system entry. Contribute to the review and development of the client Corporate Solutions world-wide network through collaboration with the International network team in Paris client CS HUBS and Network Partners. Maintain working relationships, data transfer and communication links with Network partners under personal control and other internal departments to establish and agree requirements and receive feedback on service delivered. Identification of operational performance issues, referring as necessary to more senior job holder Report to Manager on Network performance issues, and undertake tasks, as required, affecting overall department issues. Areas of Job Holder Activity Respond to queries from Network Partners, client CS underwriters, client CS claim handlers and internal clients in both the UK and overseas, Partnerships, AIS and the international commercial team in Paris directly or after referral in order to maintain customer service satisfaction and to look after the interests of client CS. Respond to queries relating to data entry and the administration of programmes Maintain the reporting reviews, for partners under personal control, within service deadlines, identifying issues, referring as necessary. Participate in documenting international systems and processes. Ensure internal workflow and query processes are maintained accurately and within timescales. Act as a referral point for Internal clients, external clients and Network Partners on all operational and process issues relating to transaction of international business. Participate in audit and review claims processes to identify areas which inhibit attainment of service standard and implement agreed improvements. Ensure that systems and processes are fully documented and kept up to date and comply with all operating procedures. CRUCIAL COMPETENCIES Technical Competent in all areas of the job, able to make decisions within authority limits. Technical Knowledge to include: Understanding of principles of International Programme underwriting. Good ability in manipulation and interpretation of data. Understanding and knowledge of international claims Good processing, audit and reconciliation skills. Understanding of technical issues and programme design of International Programmes Understanding of reinsurance structure in terms of the administration and control of defined arrangements Working Knowledge of guidelines set out in client International Network Charter. Good level of MS EXCEL skills Knowledge of the Company's computer and clerical processing systems. Knowledge of methods of processing and financial handling of insurance and reinsurance data. Good understanding of the company's management information systems. Understand the AXA Group structure in so far as is relevant to this role. Ability to use appropriate tools to compile, manipulate and report back data. Inter-personal Work closely and effectively with Manager and other team members, internal clients and those in other external organisations. Communicate effectively - contact with Overseas Partners, International Network teams, Customer Services teams, claims and underwriting staff.
