Summary Becoming a Test Automation Lead with Capita Secure Software and Technology: Capita Secure Software have a new role for a Test Automation Lead . The role will be based in our brand-new Bristol tech hub where we will be recruiting an international team who will be following the latest Agile approaches, using cutting edge technologies and techniques. This represents a truly exciting opportunity to grow, learn and contribute. We work with a wide range of emergency service providers - ambulance trusts, fire and rescue services and police forces - supplying a range of mission-critical solutions and support services in many global locations. The Test Automation Lead role will be working on our flagship product ControlWorks, working on our next generation software. ControlWorks is a browser based rich, complex application written in Typescript using React/Redux components and a C# .NET and SQL backend. This will be an ideal opportunity for an existing automation tester looking for career progression. The role will entail defining the automation test process on ControlWorks and leading and mentoring the other automation testers on the project. What you will do: Be able to create and coach an automated test strategy to be used by all the Scrum teams. Be able to write automation test code and setup data pre-requisites. Be a fully engaged, pro-active and collaborative member of their Scrum team. Participate in development, design and architectural sessions and reviews. Have a commitment to quality. Be driven by successful goal delivery. Your experience will include: Be able to define a testing strategy and to implement the strategy across the Scrum teams. Testing complex IT projects through to completion, resulting in delivery of robust and high-quality applications Knowledge of unit test frameworks e.g. MSTest, NUnit etc. Knowledge of Web test frameworks e.g. Selenium Building automated testing suites from scratch Working in an Agile environment Desirable: BDD Knowledge of build pipelines in Azure DevOps About Capita Secure Software and Technology Capita Secure Software and Technology is a leading supplier of technology-enabled solutions and services across both the private and public sectors.
