Summary SKILLED PROCESS LEADER (Shift based) Newport General: Reporting to the Shift Process Owner, the Skilled Process Leader will be responsible for all functions on their assigned Process. Key Responsibilities: *Ensuring that all personnel are adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental standards *Ensuring that Manufacturing targets for output and quality are met *Must ensure that Manufacturing Control Methods are adhered to *Strict adherence to Quality Process and Procedures *Housekeeping levels must be maintained to the Company Standard *Full responsibility will be taken for the immediate repair of any breakdown, calling for assistance from maintenance personnel where appropriate *Assisting with the development of the skills and performance of the team via Training needs analysis *Assisting with Return to work form completion *Assisting with 1st Level Verbal warnings where applicable *Assisting with holiday and sickness cover to ensure no disruption to production The above list is not exhaustive Skill Requirements (Training to be provided where applicable): *Completed Apprentice in either Mechanical/electrical or Multi-skilled *Minimum of ONC, HNC Preferable *Experience or knowledge of working with Robotic systems *IT knowledge of production systems, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word. *Management or Supervisory experience is essential Attributes: *Ambitious, responsible person *Pro-active and self-motivated *Good interpersonal skills *Experienced in machine setting/mechanical/electrical engineering *Ability to learn and develop within the role Hours of Work: 4 Shift rotation as follows: Week one - Mon -Thurs 13:30-21:45 / Fri 11:30-17:45 Week two - Mon -Thurs 05:30-13:45 / Fri 05:30-11:45 Week three - Sun 17:30-05:45 / Mon - Thurs 21:30-05:45 Week four - Fri & Sat 17:30-05:45 All shifts attract an additional Shift premium payment and wash payment.
