Summary Becoming a Trainee Datacentre Engineer with Capita IT and Networking Capita IT & Networks have a new role for Trainee Datacentre Engineer to work with a 24x7x365 Data Centre Operations Team providing first level fault diagnosis and monitoring of IT business-critical infrastructure. in West Malling. We are looking for either a recent graduate or apprentice who is looking for a career within a technical IT environment., someone who is eligible to undertake SC Clearance, willing to learn and has an aptitude with technology What you will do: On-site IT Management of infrastructure and distributed server environments 24x7x365 as directed by the Shift Manager Event Management monitoring of applications and infrastructure systems as agreed Workload monitoring & completion of batch profiles as directed by Shift Manager Call instigation to the appropriate support level as directed by Shift Manager Completion of Operational reports within agreed timescales as directed by Shift Manager Site Security & Environmental Monitoring as directed by Shift Manager Media Management and offsite administration as directed by Shift Manager Day-to-day responsibility for the security of the Operations Bridge Room environment as directed by the Shift Manager Your experience will include: Ability to undertake SC Clearance IT Qualifications IT proficiency in use of PC Applications (e.g. word, excel, outlook) , IT Qualifications Ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Strong team player Ideally a Full driving licence (or learning to drive) About Capita IT and Networking Capita Networking Solutions are part of our IT and Networking business, and we specialise on connecting businesses worldwide.
