Responsibilities: *Achieve ambitious sales growth targets in your product area. *Respond effectively and promptly to telephone, web and email enquiries. *Make proactive telephone calls to new, existing and lapsed customers. *Manage, develop and grow business with large potential customers. *Advise customers on safe storage and handling guidelines and regulations and on appropriate product selection from our large range of products. *Create quotations and following them through to order. *Create and launch sales campaigns with Marketing. *Promote and co-ordinate field service. *Ongoing data quality improvement. Candidate Profile: *Successful track record as internal account executive, sales administrator or similar internal sales role. *Very strong customer focus. *Numerate, precise and accurate with attention to detail. *Strong negotiating and deal closing skills, sound commercial acumen. *Good technical understanding. *Highly driven and proactive with a positive, dynamic outlook. *Excellent communicator. *Strong IT skills - comfortable in all MS Office programs, knowledge of SAP or similar MRP systems would be an advantage. *Interested in career progression into an external sales role. *Engineering/Technical understanding would be a distinct advantage.
