To be responsible for the security of YMCA premises consisting of 67 hostel rooms, 22 self-contained flatlets and off-site provision plus all programme, public and office areas. • To undertake regular on-foot patrols of the building over all levels. • To be responsible for the cleaning of specific public and office areas in the YMCA building. • To be responsible for the safety and security of up to 67 Service Users in the hostel and 22 Service Users in the flatlets and off-site provision of accommodation. • To seek opportunity to achieve the Associations Aims and Purposes. • To ensure the YMCA building is secure and clean during the night 10p.m. to 7a.m. • To report events during the shift period by recording in the Accommodation/Handover or Cleaning Books. • To ensure that all Policies and procedures are adhered to. • To attend Housing Team meetings if appropriate. • To attend any relevant training advised by the Team Leader - Night Support or Head of Housing and Support • To monitor CCTV images as required. • To know and carry out correct procedures regarding Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire, First Aid, etc. • To handle emergency situations in relation to buildings in an appropriate manner. • To rapidly attend any part of the building to address an incident or provide assistance to a colleague as required.
