We have a vacancy to join our well-established Actuarial Technical Centre (ATC) in Harrogate. The successful individual will be involved in a variety of actuarial and pensions calculations and will receive support to study for the Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA) qualification. We will hold an Assessment Centre for this position on Thursday 16th May 2019 in Harrogate. What you will do: Calculations for actuarial valuations and other funding exercises Interrogation and checking of data and pension scheme documents Calculations for pension scheme accounting (FRS102/IAS19) Programming and running of actuarial valuation systems Running spreadsheet models and checking figures calculated Draft technical reports and presentations Ensure technical compliance with established processes and maintain comprehensive audit trails Develop knowledge, experience and demonstrate exam progression Your experience will include: Honours graduate in a mathematics based subject with at least a 2.2 and A*-C grade in A-level mathematics or equivalent Strong numerical, analytical and data manipulation skills Good communication skills both verbal and written Proactivity with the ability to work flexibly and under pressure Commercial awareness Working positively with colleagues both independently and as part of a team A broad range of developed IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word and Outlook About Employee Solutions Capita Employee Solutions is part of Capita plc, a UK leader in technology-enabled business process management and outsourcing solutions.
