Summary Pharmacy Technician Full-time Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly and highly motivated individuals to join our small Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician on Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, as a Pharmacy Technician you will have defined responsibilities including providing in house pharmacy services, procurement, distribution, stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to wards and departments, evaluation and dispensing. For this role, NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent is required. You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society. Experience of working in a hospital of at least 2 years is preferred or at least 5 years community experience will be considered. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent IT skills. Excellent people and customer service skills are essential, as you will be working closely both with patients and the hospital team. As a highly organised and analytical individual, you will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. This is a full time position 37.5 hours as required according to the needs of the department. The Pharmacy hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm . However, flexibility is required as the hours may change depending on the needs of the department.
