Job summary: Being an inspiring leader you will want to ensure that all staff are valued, well led, motivated and developed through learning opportunities that enhance their professional practice within the services aims and objectives. You will be supported by a Service Manager and benefit from working alongside the Senior Leadership team, including Swindon's Head of Social Work, to ensure compliance with the Statutory Framework for all adult services. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement, through ownership of performance and maintaining quality assurance systems for the services - working with us to embed a strengths based approach into all areas of our practice. Person specification • You'll be a registered Social Worker or Occupational Therapist • You'll have post qualification and evidence of diverse practice in a front line adult social care setting • You'll have demonstrable evidence of Management/Leadership Development • You'll have management experience of recruitment, performance, appraisal and direct responsibility for operational staff • You'll have budget management and audit skills • You'll have detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance and policy.
