Summary STOREMAN REQUIRED This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, forward-thinking company that specialises in the manufacturing industry. This role is based on a temporary to permanent basis - with a permanent role being offered on successful completion of 12 weeks service. As the Storeman/Warehouse Operative you will take responsibility for organising how items are stored and will be involved in the utilisation of labour to ensure projects are completed within the correct lead times and within budget. Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and or a warehousing environment would be an advantage. Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Flexibility is essential for this role. Roles & responsibilities include- • To unload and sign for any deliveries • To book in goods received in via our in-house computer system • To place goods received into the correct locations and record • Help pick the daily/weekly raw material requirements for despatch and production. • Maintain cleanliness of the yard/warehouse area • Conduct perpetual inventory/ stock checking on a daily and weekly basis. Ideally, we need someone who has- • Excellent interpersonal skills • Deliver effective interaction with colleagues, customers and suppliers • Physically fit able to lift heavy items throughout the day • Must have a counterbalance forklift licence, and would be an advantage to also have a valid Flexi licence. • Must have a valid driving licence. • Flexibility in working hours to meet customer demands Why work for Hales Group All of our Consultants are committed and qualified in what they do and have been operating in Lowestoft for many years.
