Summary Becoming a Graduate Project Manager with Capita Group: We currently have a really exciting opportunity for a Graduate Project Manager to join our Operational Excellence delivery team. This role offers an overview Capita in its entirety and will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled and experienced members of the team delivering a programme of several key initiatives. This is a fast-paced role with lots of variety and challenge, along with fantastic future career prospects looking to progress within our organisation. Within this role you will benefit from on the job training and mentorship by members of the team What you will do: Planning, directing, and co-ordinating activities to manage and implement complex inter-related projects. Evaluating & interpreting data and presenting this back to colleagues and clients when needed Engaging directly with business stakeholders for the project to ensure their requirements are captured and the project delivers to their expectations Signing off of all expenditure in line with Project Forecasts and agreed Tolerances, actively managing risk both internally and externally Managing the project in line with project communication, Quality, Risk and Issues Management Plans. Evaluating changes to project management practices and initiates improvement to PM Practice as appropriate. Your experience will include: Graduated in the last three years with a minimum of a 2:1 at degree level in a business related subject Good analytical and presentation skills, happy to [present to colleagues and clients at all levels Have the ability to learn quickly, taking responsibility for own learning and development Able to work in a demanding and fast paced office environment and deliver to deadlines Professional and approachable with the ability to communicate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels Willing to go the extra mile and use own initiative to solve problems About Capita Group The Group Operations Excellence function has been introduced to support three key tiers of strategic activity, namely Enhanced Automation, Global Delivery and Operations Management.
